if you were changing the port, it is after the ?param?param part, it's -port=### Put the server description in the ini, and drop the gamemode= part. Any better?

There are a couple things in your startup line that I do not think need to be there... bushbomb has better experience running servers then I do. Try what he suggests and see if that works.

Loo, mantasoul, and Tiberium : I am still working to track down the crash. Hopefully when I get all the log files back I can determine what the problem is.

Ok i tested your version of Invasion. Here is my list of things to do:
- Fix Radar doesnt work
- Add sounds like New invasion starts in ..... from orig. ut2004
- ESC doesnt work
- When press F1 all menues and huds are disabled
- Can only leave game with console command exit because ESC doesnt work
- Add more monsters
I loved invasion in ut2004 and i hope it will return. This first beta looks nice but some bugs are bad :-/

- Version 006 has a working radar map.
- Version 006 has the sounds from the original UT2K4 invasion.
- I have many times exited the game with ESC and then selecting "exit game" from the menu, so it might be a problem with your key bindings as GUPraeToriaN suggested.
- If you are on a network game, you may experience an issue with the custom hud... this is a known bug in the game engine, which Epic will fix in due time. See this thread for more info: http://utforums.epicgames.com/showthread.php?p=25126917
- More monsters are in development... Remember, UT3 has only been out for approx 2 months and we are still figuring out the new engine and scripting.
Fixing bugs is my first priority. Most of the major issues have all been fixed with the one exception that a couple people are having with the game crashing when a monster spawns. The next release is currently on hold until I get it fixed.
If anyone else is experiencing any of the issues that Muskator has mentioned, please let me know.

Hit F10, type "open dawga.com:8888" and see if you get the same problems there. You need Patch 1 to join. It is always running the latest version of this mod.

ok, 1 player tried it on 1 server, then tried it on another server, both times it crashed when he disconnected. Next time it crashed when he exited. Here is his last response:
Did it one more time. This time I also removed the UT3 folder in "Program Files (x86)" and the UT3 folder in "my games". Then installed and patched.
Still crashed on disconnect.
This only happens on the 2 invasion servers. AND only since version 006. Didn't do this on 5.

1 more thing, I noticed your UTGaltanorsInvasion006.ini has the GameSpecificMapCycles using GaltanorsInvasion006, I don't think you need that, because the class doesn't have it, just the package.
And if you look at the other cycles, they're using the class names, not packages. I use the one without the 006, and I'm running 006, and mapvote is enabled on my test server.

Hey Galtanor,
I have version 006 of your Invasion and i also installed Patch 1.1 Final. But the Radar still doesnt work. I dont know why, but i cant see enemys and friends at radar.
I also dont know why ESC and F1 doesnt work fine. I havent changed the commands for this keys! But this happens only in your mod.
In the Invasion version of Kearin all works fine.
Other Thing: maybe you and kearin can work together on one Invasion Mod? I think it will be better to make one Mod. So also the worktime is not so long i think.

Mutators and game types must consist of UnrealScript code only. This means that you cannot have a mutator that turns all UT3 weapons into a space cow model that you import. This is because they need to work with shipping maps, and too much content added on will cause the PS3 to run out of memory.
Importing sounds is not supported. This is because UT3 uses a proprietary version of ATRAC3 and we are unable to release the tool that is needed to convert .wav files to the format required by the game.
The second one definitely kills all the custom sounds.

Loo, mantasoul, and Tiberium : Thanks to Tiberium's patience, it looks like I found the issue. I should have it fixed in the next version.
It has taken me a while to track down that bug, so I have not made any significant progress on any new features for version 007.
