    No no, I'm all for version numbers; as I said, it makes it easier to differentiate, especially if you have an archive, which itself is not a bad idea.

        Crashes at 1.

        I have loaded it and i start playing and get weps like the other guy it then crashes when it gets to 1, what is a custom character and how do you turn it off, in settings on player it says allow custom character, i click it so there is no blob but it still crashes what do i need to do.

          If he meant a custom character like EvilEngine's Xan character, then i haven't ever gotten a crash because of it.

            Can you tell me what the error message is? I play this mutator with all custom characters and have no crashes. Curious to know what happened.

              my view bout this mut..AWESOME!!! finally invasion, i don't see why epic would remove it from UT3...though i (much like other people have posted) on small indoor maps such as some DM maps monsters wind up suiciding also on some CTF maps as well.as far as the monsters go,some seem to be stuck on some situations like on torlan i saw one krall in one spot dancing around (like as if he were twitching),hopefully more monsters will be added like a flying dragon or warlord or something...as far as the configuration goes i think they should be a config window in game so we can choose what monster(s) we want in game,how many monster & how many waves. although we can config the .ini file but the down part about that is we have to exit the game mod the .ini and then restart the game.honestly i find this mut to be totally *** kicking!

                Basically i'm having the same things as this other guy, i use one of the characters that come with the game, it just goes of ut 3 at 1 and i can send error report or not, and other info you need to help me, just ask.

                  • About the monsters suiciding, I have not seen it happen myself... if you have can you please describe how they are doing it?
                  • As for the Krall getting stuck, it seems to be a bug in the Bot AI when they only have a melee weapon and can not path directly to a player. It looks like part of the bot AI is now in native code, so I do not know how easy it will be to change, but I have added it to the list and will try to take a look at it.
                  • I certainly would like to see more monsters myself... by unfortunately I am not a modeler. There are a few people working on some new monster models and I am sure we will see some eventually. Remember, this game has not been out for 2 full months yet

                  Sorry you are have an issue. If possible, can you please look in your Log file and post the section right before the crash? (make sure you dont include the lines with your password )

                  In other news, I am making progress on version 006...
                  • Redid gametype to include version number
                  • Radar bug is fixed
                  • Created a custom scoreboard and mid game menu
                  • Adjusted the monster difficulty to work on a sliding scale
                  • Couple other minor bugs fixed

                    the map i was playing on was coret..i believe it was wave 5 maybe 6 when the darkwalkers appear...i think the darkwalker bots that are killing them selves because it might be because the map is small and the walker is too big for it..in my map DM-myapartment that i ported over from UT2004 the walkers can freely appear cause my map is huge.but like i said it might be due to the map size itself...i know if i play on torlan or any other big indoor and outdoor map no bot will suicide.

                      Yes, there was a bug that was fixed Friday night. Please download version 005 again. The links on the first post have been updated.

                              nice interface and nice work so far.
                              The monsters sometimes looks like they get kinda stuck in specific spots, appart from that i must congratulate you, you have done a very good job so far.

                                I think I know what the problem is... although the Epic's cryptic message did not help much

                                If I get everything wrapped up, I will have a new version out tomorrow that will be fixed.
