You are talking about free redirects or your own redirect ?
I ask because i am using my own redirect and sentiles v9 works fine for me, and i have dll from my redirect

What i do is, dll mutator or map from autor, upload to my server, compress the files and upload in my redirect, after this i open my client and conect to the server and dll all this files from server, for test all files in redirect works well.

And for me now works fine

Thanks gauntlet, good to know we can play invasion on linux soon.

Remind your players that with sentinels v9 its best if everybody installed it manually, using redirect will cause crashes since ut3 is still bugged.

The slow effect from Ice Golems etc. doesn't quite work right. It looks like you are only slowed down on the server, because while your actual firing rate is slowed down alright, on the client you see the firing animation playing as if you were still firing at the normal rate.

Or maybe even finishing off with enforcer to gain the pet, boss dont have to be at full health as pet, it should be injured because you took away alot of its hp already so there can be limit on pet hp.

If you finish off a monster with a full load of bio goo, then you gain control of it. Is that even possible?
I thought more that you really need to risk something to get a pet, so something like needing to stay for 5 seconds on the dead body of the creature while pressing action button on it.
I dont like the idea of being able to make bosses to pets, most of the time bosses are very powerfull and then they could do more dmg then the player. I think the pets should be just a support for the player. But yeah normal monsters could be much to weak in there health so that they would die after a few seconds. Giving the monsters as a pet a lot more health and maybe also the ability to regenerate slowly should fix that.

    Way to control a monster:

Limit on number of pets you can have.

This would make invasion insanely fun to play.

I dont liek the warfare idea but i really love the idea of controlling some of the monsters for normal invasion, since sentinels is buggy, this could be a good alternative buddy on the battlefield.

Imagine getting control of a boss creature

    Invasion pets!

I thought about this for some time now, i wonder what happens if you let monsters spawn in both teams!? Will it result in a big monster war?
If that works nicely i think it would make some very cool gameplay possible.

One idea would be that you can make dead monsters to one of your allies, maybe you need to make a 5 sec brain surgery on a dead intact body! Then it will rise again and belong to your team or better your own squad and you can give them basic orders like you can do in singleplayer with the bots. Of course that would needs to be limited, maybe to only like 2 monsters for a player at once and makeing it not possible with the strong enemys. Looking at how popular the sentinel mutator is in invasion i think this would be a very cool optinal gameplay addition that also lets you create allies that fight with you.

Another, much bigger, idea would be having an "Invasion Warfare" gametype, where teams fight against each other like in Warfare but with the huge twist that there will be also monsters that fight with them. Every players has the abillity to summon monsters, these monsters will then belong to their squad and you can give them orders like you can do normaly with bots. To summon a monster you need to spend points and you can only have a limited amount of monsters at once. Points will get earned for holding nodes and killing enemys, the points of the team will get split for all the team members. Every monster has prize that is based on how powerfull it is. I imagine some nice RTS like tactics from this, and also rock paper scissor gameplay: lasermouse beats Demolition wabbit, minimouse beats lasermouse, Shockingmouse beats minimouse, alien bunny beats Shocking mouse...
Before i go totally nuts here ... can you give it try Galtanor, how it works having monsters in both teams and let me know what you think of the ideas? Even only watching monsters in both teams fighting each other would be so awesome!

For anybody having problems crashing on our invasion server, you need to install sentinels v9 manually, if you use the redirected version then you will crash alot, we think this is a conflict with old versions dunno?

Also sentinels gears addon removes the server from browser listing so it may appear offline even though its running fine, you will need to OPEN IP in console (open 217.163.30.20:7777).

I remember old versions of galtanor invasion pre 1.3 patch also needed to be installed manually due to crashes with the redirect version of invasion, can anybody confirm that is not the case now with v21?

We need more big and bulky bad guys imo; big & bulky, move slowly and are easy targets but can be very dangerous without moving all the time and/or using cover, and of course have lots of health. The titans from Unreal 1 are a good example.
