I love Relics! The UT99's Relics were these ones:

Strength: Double Damage

In UT2K4 the Chaos UT mod had some really nice relic skins aswell, but they are working on a UT3 version so hopefuly will add their relics aswell^^

hmm if i remind...(in ut99)
there was:
-a skull for the vengeance
-an axe for the power
-an helmet for the protection defense
-a life icon for the life
-a ring for the redemption

I didn't play the UT99 versions so I dont know what models you mean. I can't make models so these were made by someone else.

here is my last post for a long time, got let go because I was spending to much time online...Relics is by far my favourite mutator here are some ideas:

Proximity / Freeze – Vehicles / fighters slowed if you get close to them
Stand Still – Player frozen on spot gains life and infinite fire…
Explode me – Player has bomb with a fuse (10 sec) transfers by killing other players…killed players spawn with bomb still on them.
Spider mine – Pick with infinite spider mines (under seen and used weapon) no promimity alarms warnings
Super Roids - Huge Speed, weapons bonuses but loose all health very quick 10-20 sec
Insulination – Shots to other players cause them to drop weapons / relics

is there any special instructions for upgrading earlier versions? I love this mod and have an earlier edition, does it all just overwrite or do I have to manually seek out/remove old version? Thanks

You should just be able to overwrite. I havn't changed the names of any files so they are all still the same.

Any ps3 cook in the works? Had to ask since this is a sweet mod.

I won't be doing a PS3 cook. If you can get someone else to do it thats fine (the source code is all in the download). There might be problems with PS3 as I have now added custom models and a config screen and i heard there was problems with that.

Updated Version: 08-03-19a
- Added custom mesh for the relics. (Thanks Soto)
- Added option to drop old relics when picking up new ones. (can causes crashes when playing online) - off by default.
- Added VAMPIRE relic.
- Added mutator config menu - doesn't allow editing relics yet.
- Fixed a bug where AGILITY didn't work on first jump after picking it up.
- Fixed a bug where VENGEANCE would not cause damage to anyone.
- Upgraded for v1.2

Looks freaking awesome. You going to get any more relics made? And when can we expect a new version with the new models?

I have been making a Vampire relic which gives half the damage you deal back to you in health. I just need to do some more testing to make sure the alterations I have done work and then I will do another alpha release.
