Small update. I have continued work on the new mappack and the new proc map a bit. -cut-

Hows the progress going? Sometimes having a hobby can be a good distraction from lifes trauma.

I returned to working on my Idoma Remake, so you can put it into WIP DM's.

current version have much more improved visuals, and way better performance (no longer problem with dynamic lightning). Now i'm on stage of polishing it, so i think that in next week you can get last Beta and one or two weeks later Final version.

Ha, well until i realized that releasing these other maps on the list & namely extracting all the assets out of Sneh's CTF-Niven was going to put me way past schedule. <that deal took a lot of the flak out of my cannons honestly) Hey if it comes down to a working CTF-Niven (that actually works networked) VS. an unfinished CTF-BollwerkRuins - that is a no brainer .. Niven it is ........ <incidentally played the Beta of CTF-Niven last night and let me tell ya its a kickazz blast on the network with real players .. > props to Sneh.. his mapping talents are solely missed, - honor & respect.


I released some Bollwerk Alpha materials on UOF of it which could have potential, carefully scaled UT3 BSP + Cascade + Textures + around 75% meshing & about 60% lighting .. If someone wants to pick up the slack i'd be happy to pass the uncooked WIP to them. <anyone serious can PM me and i'll forward the canceled WIP)

Needs some kismet for the door trip and some minor mechanical work but i'm not going to take that on with my other WIP that i know i must complete - i've committed to finish before take a rest or a at least a vacation at some point.

Just started DM-Oblivion in snehs honour, pics and beta should be up soon. Would love a graffiti texture saying 'sneh was ere' if anyone wants to contribute (pm me or post it on my map pack thread, thanks). DM-Crash goes final in 2 weeks.

Sweet... I have been beta-testing an amped up version 1x style of CTF-Niven based on sneh's work! We are in for some serious CTF fun .


I hope ole sneh combs this forum and sees that he is missed

Cool, Obliv was on my own remake list but I'll wait and see how yours comes out.
