That sux. (we'll on the positive side your map is OK though, or at least in better shape than your wallet could be right?) Hopefully its under warranty and doesn't throw too much of a monkey wrench in your operation.
I'm on the Nvidia side here <though i do not use SLI> I buy the EVGA cards with the lifetime warranties.

I run triple crossfire so I should be fine with just 2 cars. If all else fails I can also use my secondary pc which is reserved for video editing or my crappy laptop with intel graphics. The map is ok though. Currently stopped with cinder for a bit and instead will work on the long lost map. Work on a different map each day, makes making a pack less tedious

I'm back on this CTF-Football today for the BR conversion, (optimizations minor tweaks, and such) Then i'll get back to CTF-Maul, and then CTF-Rainbase, and as a side project i've been reworking CTF-Niven (Based on Sneh's version) since the only available version is non-multiplayer. I've still got some other irons in the fire, (it sucks being so picky and not wanting to throw anything together quick and dirty, i have a fairly demanding RL, but i still love this hobby) i'd like to complete 4 or 5 more high quality maps before i move on or take a break. I'm trying to wrap up some lose ends now.

I'd suggest you speak with Thalos, he is our resident UV mapping expert .. see his CTF-Magma remake, he UV'd that map so incredibly well he almost didn't even need any post-processing effects, never have i seen anyone make such good use of stock lighting by dialing in the meshing so well..
He's also a real nice guy and usually willing to help, perhaps i'll send him a message and ask him to speak with you? - Obviously i can't speak for him, but it never hurts to ask.
BTW, what you have there in those 2 shots looks excellent IMO.

I'll take that into consideration. I think I rather give it some more tries myself, especially since I plan to use a lot more new meshes for that map. Might as well master UV Muppeting myself then.
I came to the conclusion that the gate model is too big and too high poly to get it into the game (20 minutes for importing a model is not good). So I will trim it down a bit and add the chevron systems from the atlantis and sg1 gates to it. Kind of like a blend between the destiny and earth gates. The chevrons will light up in blue or red depending on the team base.
