                    If after you finish this model you still want to make chars for UT3, this is my suggestion:

                    The_Slaughter has reported way back in the BU Forums that he lost interest in UT3 and he doesn't mind if someone else finished the Thunder Crash faction. I think that with your great skills you could really pull this off.

                    - First you could detach his head from the military hat and make the hat a custom part (I know this would be a pain in the *** to model, but providing this choice to gamers to run around getting his bald head cold would be cool IMO) The hat would also be a custom part for all other TC chars.

                    - I like the torso from the UC2 Malcolm. Would make an awesome custom part IMO:

                    (Edit: the shoulder parts are also cool)
                    The UC2 Malcolm is also available a huge UT2k4 model pack for UT2k4 available in the UT2k4 section of the Epic Games Forums (If you don't have it and don't want to, but you're interested, I can get some screens for you).

                    - After, I'd pick the torso from your Rankin model, re-texture it green with a golden eagle on the left/right side of the chest, and provide it as the third torso available to choose from.

                    - I like the UT2k4 Malcolm/Brock/Wraith/Torch's arms with this hydraulic thing on them. Here's a pic with some random skins using that model:

                    - After that I would re-skin the Ronin arm part (the one that shows some human skin), re-texture it and provide it as the third arm available to choose from.

                    - After that, I would rework on his voice announcements. I myself made some experiments and concluded that if you rip out Othelo's "got the flag" and "heading to node/power-up" announcements, and edit them in an audio program (like audacity), raising their pitch and increasing their speed (Malcolm speaks faster than Othelo), you get something that sounds just like Malcolm (god, I would do this part myself for you if you got some interest in this).

                    - And then some heads for other characters. For example, re-skin Othelo's head, remove all that "tribal" painting, and put a small black "bar code" tattoo above his right eyebrow. And there you go, Jakob would be born. He would use Othelo's voice.

                    - There's a hint that Brock is in Thunder Crash now in one of the (unused, I think) Malcolm's campaign briefing's for when you lose a combat (it's something like "Right now I'm wishing we had Thunder Crash on our side; at least Brock would teach you to shoot"). Brock would use the "human male" voice, or whatever it's called (lol, and we'd hear Brock shout "Eff Yeah!" too )

                    - After modeling Brock's head, you could also model Riker's one (that blond guy), I guess. He would also use the the human male voice.

                    - All these extra chars would use all Malcolm's body part's, the ones he already has and the ones you'd model and re-skin. You could also re-skin some leg parts and include them as selectable legs, but I wouldn't mind if you didn't anyway. But the bottom line is I'd rather have less chars with custom parts, than 10 different models when 2 or three of them are the same ones with a different head/torso (I'm not into EvilEngine's LiandriBots because of this). Re-skinning some stuff would also ease and speed up the process (And you'd get 4 models without having to model them completely like you've been doing with Rankin and Hyora).

                    And that's it. After that you could release the faction as it is, and work on a couple of females later on. A re-skinned Lauren would make an awesome Annuka (UT99=Annaka; UT2k4=Annika; UT3=Annuka), and you could model Azure (or Aryss or name it what you want). For their bodies you could do some more re-skining, or model, or both (model some parts and re-skin some others as selectable).
