    hosting game -> crash the game

    Hello,

    i've certainly installed the last patch and the UT3PatchGS_21 as well.
    Login is working, I can connect to to servers and play local (bot) games. (Also editor is working)

    If I want to host a game, UT3 is crashing after one second. How can i fix it?
    In which order i've to install "Patch5" and "Titanpack"?

    Hey

    TitanPack and then Patch5 is recommended as this is the order in which it was released.

    Can you post the log file (Launch.log) which will be created no matter what and should probably state something important to help you in that case
    (remember to delete sensitive data like a login password and account name).

        Not sure why your UI is crashing because of "no OwnerScene".

        Is your menu red or black?
        Where did you install the patches and the titan pack? Into your install directory?
        (Stock content like patches or the bonus packs should be installed into that install directory.)


        You might delete/backup the current configs of your profile folder and start UT3 again. You have to re-enter the CDKey.
        To backup, rename the folder "Config"...
        Code:

        ... to something like "Config_old" (or "Config_Backup").
        Restart UT3 again. UT3 will create new config files based on the ones from the install directory.



        Did you modify any package with the editor?



        Did you play UT3 before you applied the last patch (Patch5) and the GameSpy Fix?

          Hi,
          I've uninstalled everything, including profile at %userprofile%\Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3 and installed again in the recommended order.
          Now it works!?! I will check now if it run with my favorite mutatar: carry the flag.

          However, thank you very much for your effort. If I get some new results, I make a short update!

              I've uninstalled everything, including profile at %userprofile%\Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3 and installed again in the recommended order.
              Now it works!?! I will check now if it run with my favorite mutator: carry the flag.

              have installed (copied) the "carry the flag" mutator, some external VCTF maps and my own as well. Everything is working fine.
              Not sure what it was, but now it works. Server is also visible in the server list. Unfortunately not reachable because my provider is working with IPv6. But this is another problem :-)

              Regarding the questions above:
              Patches are installed in the game directory (D:\Spiele\UT3_BB) (BB=BlackBox). External maps and Mutator are copied in the user directory.
              No ini file was changed.

              However. It works now. Thank you to all for your effort!!!
