Just bought UT3 off Steam and cannot run it

I recently purchased this game off of Steam since I'm a big UT fan and finally have a decent machine to run the game, the problem is, I'm not able to get the game to run. As soon as I try to run it, I get this with the "UT3.exe has stopped working error" with the following details:

I have read numerous threads reading similar issues and it appears that none really pertain to my problem. If anyone is able to assist me with this, it will be greatly appreciated.

make sure your directx is updated, update your gpu drivers, maybe update sound drivers. etc.

I'll go ahead and give this a try, NVIDIA said all my drivers were up to date. Let's see what happens.

Does it leave any logs?

You can find it under MyDocuments - MyGames - UT3 - UTGame - logs.
