    Help with particle generated effects

    Hello everyone.

    I am working on a laser beam effect in Cascade and would like to spawn particles on other surfaces upon collision from said beam. Now, I know that in the UDK one can use the Event Generator module in Cascade to spawn other particles upon collision, but how does one go about doing that in the UT3 version of the engine since there is no Event Generator module? I have searched the internet on this matter and have found nothing.
    Also, how you attach a Decal material to a particle system so that, for instance, my laser could burn a mark on a surface?

    I would like to be able to select my particle effect in the Generic Browser and have everything already set up every time I place it in a level.
