Can you merge packages?

Solved this problem myself, I just right clicked each mesh and renamed them to the map file name seems to have solved it

Ok i have a problem with my current map that ive got a couple of custom packages setup but it crashes when i cook. So from what ive read i need to take all the meshes and re-import them into the map file itself which id like to avoid. Is there a way to merge the packages in the editor or will i have to re-import the meshes again?
