Problem with F6 ping function

Hi there!

I have a problem with the F6 function to see ping.
When I press F6 the FPS drastically falls to the half or less I don't know why

I have Windows Vista HP 64 bits, intel core i7, 1 GTX295, 6 Gb RAM.
Drivers updated this week, but the problem persist.

Well but this is a connection problem, I'm reporting a bug
Here in Spain the ADSL is one of the worst of Europe. I have a laugthing connection which falls every days, normally when I'm playing in UT3 (why?? ). Sometimes my connection lags until pings like yours.
