Hi all,
I’m working on a scene in UT3 and have a few questions about lights and shadows:
I’m using a spot light(one per pillar)with LightFunction on to project window pattern on the floor, but static mesh shadow is too sharp and completely disappears when I zoom out, I tried changing Light Map res of the BSP surface (floor, set at 128), but that crushes Unreal no matter weather I go higher or lower.
Another thing is I’m using a negative SpotLight to create shading at the bottom of pillars and it works fine apart from the ones affected by projection light(again BSP surface – floor). Is there a way to for one light to override another?
Any thoughts?
