Campaign mode

I am running Vista (64) and I can't seem to save my progerss in campaign mode. Is this a known issue?
I am running it in XP mode with Admin rights...it saves as long as I am in the game. If I exit and come back in, I have to start all over again

You need an online account...
Create it ingame.

I want to play the offlne campaign. Why do I need an online account? It saved my progress when I played it on my XP machine, without an account.
