Installation problems

just got the game used from GS and tried to install and I keep the following error

the file 'FACE-blah blah whole string of numbers, cannot be installed the file cannot be found in cabnet file 'data1.cab' then says something about network problem or cd problem

the cd is clean, no scratches or anything I can see

any help would be nice as I really would like to play

bump no one else has any installation troubles?

I'd take the disc back to GS and get a new one. Easy enough to do with their guarantee and it would be one less possible problem. At least then you'd know for sure it isn't the disc itself but something on your end.
