UT3 doesn't start up but says 'code modified'

I spend ages downloading the unreal tournament 3 demo only to find, after taking ages to install, that:

'modified executable code is not allowed. Please reinstall the game.'

I never even opened the games coding let alone modified it. After copious reinstalations I gave up on it and turned to the forums.

I don't recommend trying the demo, it is a very poor representation of the game and is very buggy and incomplete.

However, this weekend on steam you can play the FULL game for free to try it out and then its only 11.99 to buy the full game. You can preload it now.

I seem to remember an issue like that with XP_64. I had to download a patch, a new executable, ut3.exe files and copy over the one that came with the demo. What OS are you using?

If u want it to work, set the year on ur computer to 2008.
