Listen Server was working, not now.

Hi, up until a few days ago, I was able to host a listen server perfectly well, now I can't. I haven't changed any settings in my router, firewall or AV software.

I am getting the Error "Your network configuration may not be compatible with hosting matches. Please check your router's manual for instructions on setting up 'Port Forwarding' or a 'DMZ Server'".

I've checked the settings, and they were fine, so I asked a friend who also regularly runs a listen server to check, and he has the same problem. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem, or could it be my ISP has blocked those ports? Or could it be related to the recent changes/upgrades at gamespy?

    Any help greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem, I installed UT3 with no problems on Vista x64, it worked fine. that is until I installed the latest patch & addon package. I now get the same error
so I assume it was generated by the UT3 patch (wrong)

    continued:
I restarted old machine with UT3 already on it and now get the same problem on the other machine
no network changes, no router changes no additional patches (same as always)
so who messed it up gamespy?

Update : Although I get the error message still, I am in fact able to host matches, so if you're experiencing this, try ignoring the error message.

But are people also able to actually join your games? Are your games visible from the game browser?

Not sure why you didn't get the message before. This issue has been discussed in length in a few posts before.
As you found out, just ignore the error message and proceed with the match and it will work fine.
I setup LAN matches all of the time.
