    UT3 won't load :(

    Hey all,

    I just got UT3 and was excited to play it. After installing and running the game I got as far as the splash screen before it shut down on me. I have read all the other splash screen issues, but none have helped me. The Start Up log is as follows:

    (and I bought mine today too ) Same bloody problem I'm having, just wont load. And its getting very annoying... I may only of spent twenty bucks on it, but it was twenty I could of used on another game instead. Wheres that log?


    no...no... this is BS... this is utter BS. UT3 works fine if I active -nosound that is just... I'm sorry thats BS. The frakking demo worked fine

    Edit3: Okay. Sorry about my previous outburst. I found the issue... the demo worked fine because previously had OpenAL installed, and ready. Hey Jordan try and install OpenAL

        i wonder why it reports a pentium III as you can clearly see that he has a dual core running at 3GHz and a HD4850 for graphics card.

          Log most times reports as pentium 3 processor instead of saying Intel (r) Family processor.
          Also make sure you have the 1.3 patch installed and every driver updated.
