crtical error after loading UT3 (PC)

Hi Folks

Just joined forum and have just got UT3 for my PC, but I am getting the following critical error message after loading and trying to start game

Also looking for patches for the PC version!!

Can anyone asist me please?

CPU: GenuineIntel PentiumPro-class processor @ -2428 MHz with 2046MB RAM

I have just chosen the safe mode option with in the game (UT3), but the same error that I posted above is repeated

Also download of patch update seems to fail as well

Can anyone advice
