i just bought the game for xbox 360 and i dont know how to change my character for multiplayer matches. from what i can tell you only get one chance to choose your character and your stuck with that one until further notice. how do i change my character?

Under your settings, click the player tab. There you should find a 'Customize Character' tab (going by PC, might be named something else for 360), click it and you will be shown a list of each of the groups, Iron Guard, Krall, etc. Some characters won't be available till you unlock them, like all the Necris.
