Error closing Kismet: UTKismet_layout.xml not found

I've been slowly learning the editor via the video tutorials, but I've run into a problem. I'm just learning Kismet, but every time I close the Kismet window, I get the following error:

can't open file '..\UTGame\Config\UTKismet_layout.xml' (error 5: access is denied.)

I've done a painstaking search of my computer, checking both the Unreal installation folder, and the folder it installs under My Documents (still don't understand why that's there). It doesn't seem like this file exists.

I've done a google search for the error, and a search on these forums, and found nothing.

Can anyone help me?

Well, I uninstalled and reinstalled UT3, re-applied patch 1.2, and now it seeeems to be working okay. I'll speak up if something else goes weird!

How I solved the problem

If your running vista, your getting this error because UnrealED needs to be run with Administrator privileges, assuming you have UAC enabled.
