Online Player Profile screwed UP! EPIC HELP!

Hello, this is my first post because I have up to this time never had an issue with UT3.

My player name in the game is Cherries_On_Top.

I was playing a vCTF match when it began to lag heavily. I quit the game, and restarted my computer.

When I logged back into UT3, I could tell something was wrong, because my screen was darker. When I joined a server, my mouse wasn't inverted (I set it to be inverted). ALL MY SETTINGS WERE LOST.

I exited the game and relaunched again.

I am able to log into my profile, but when I go to "Multiplayer", it gives me this error:

    "Setup Settings
You must set your player name and internet settings before entering multiplayer."

It takes me to the multiplayer settings, where in the "Clan Tag" field is shows:
    "<OnlinePlayerData:ProfileData.ClanTag>"

I try to set it to anything else, but it always comes back to that same message:

    "Setup Settings
You must set your player name and internet settings before entering multiplayer."

All of my other settings are gone too!

In the "INPUT" tab of settings, in the "Mouse Sensitivity" field it shows:
    "<OnlinePlayerData:ProfileData.MouseSensitivityGame >"

I tried to delete my My Games / Unreal Tournament 3 folder, but to no avail.

I was able to create a DIFFERENT profile and use it with no problems, but I have lots of statistics, friends, etc. associated with my Cherries_On_Top account, and want to keep it.

I believe this is an issue with my ONLINE ACCOUNT somewhere on the EPIC servers.

PLEASE, somebody help me, how can I fix my online settings so that I can actually log on and play as Cherries_On_Top?

Hey Yoshi! Good to see you. Haven't seen you on the vCTF servers lately. I hope I'll be able to fix this... Cherries On Top is my classic name and some say pretty memorable

Okay, no one seems to know anything about this; better question: How do I contact Epic with this question. It's obviously a problem with their online server records of my player profile.

Anyone know how to contact Epic?

.:I've just read the Duplicate Log In sticky by Flak. Could this have anything to do with the fact you can't get into Multiplayer with your original name?:.

GameSpy keeps track of your profile stats, not Epic.

Alright then, how does one go about contacting GameSpy for this type of issue?

I had the same isue some weeks ago, it helped me to reinstall the game, but now i know that you can delete the inis in your config folder and your profie files in the savedata folder from ...mygames/unreal tournament3/utgame. When you log in again with UT3 with your name and PW it will get your old settings from gamespy. The only setting you must do are the video settings, the rest will be how it was before.

I just submitted a ticket to GAMESPY. Let's see what they say!

I'll keep you updated, as I'm sure this will happen to more people than just me.

No I never found a fix to this problem. I unfortunately had to create a new user profile altogether.

                        Bah.
