since the online problems, I thought I'd try to play a single player campaign again. Well it seems i can't, because the game freezes during the first cut scene. I tried a singe player game when I first got the game and had the same problem and never tried again because I could play online. I've tiried four times now(twice when I first got the game, twice today) and it freezes my computer to the point where ctrl,alt,delete does work and have manual turn off my computer. I don't like having to do that so I don't even want to try this or that to make it work. So my question is has anyone else this problem and what did you do fix it?

Even though you would normally play a campaign, you're still logged into the server. There is an option during the login screen where you're allowed to play offline. Give that a go. -
no sorry my mistake. I looked in the faq again after i posted and saw to switch something from false to true, gave that a go and it worked. i don't know how i over looked it, it was the first thing. thanks for the help though. Epic you can delete this thead if you want.Comment

BTW...the way you get to desktop is to use the Alt + Tab methode.
