    Hosting problem

    Hi all!
I have a problem. I try to host dm's with my friends. First of all I got a message saying that I might not be able 2 play with my friends> ports or something like that. So I port-forwarded. Now I don't get that error, but like before no-one can join my multiplayer games. - It leaves them hanging with connection error as before I port-forwarded, I really want to host games because I have cool mutators and such that they don't know about.

You will want to make your PS3 the DMZ host because that opens up all ports to the system. That way, you'll never have to worry about what games use what ports.

If you really can't find directions through google just say so and I might type out instructions. It's really simple to do once you get the hang of it but explaining it is very tedious

edit: Here, here's 3 links I found with google:
          http://www.cod4forums.com/index.php?showtopic=3460
          http://sonyplaystationthree.wordpres...s3-into-a-dmz/
          http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/610541
You can probably find a better guide with pictures, these are just what came up with one search.

Well, I wouldn't do that for a PC. Since this is for the PC version you'll probably just want to open up specific ports instead.

              Here's a good site:
              http://portforward.com/cports.htm

Just click that link, and when it comes up hit ctrl+F. That's the find command. In the Find box type 'unreal tournament 3' and it'll skip right to the ports you'll want.
