Additive lag

Recently I discovered that I was getting more and more lag, as I fire a weapon more. For example if I have the Flak and just keep MB1 pressed for continuous fire, there is a delay starting to build up. I can hear the sound and see the light from the shot, but the flak shells don't appear till a split second later.

I was wondering if this is clientside? And could it have anything to do with my recent OC?

Probably not to do with OC. Does this happen in every server? It sounds like normal lag.

It's not normal lag, because my movement and everything else is fine
