Ping Question! ut3 vs ut2k4

hi,

can someone tell me why my ut3 ping is ~8ms higher than my ut2k4 ping? (same server location etc)
i knew alot people who have higher ping too in ut3, is there any reason for it?

ps: my dos ping to the game server is around 30ms but ingame ut3 44-48ms (ut2k4 32ms)!

Why do you want to know? There's no difference between 30 or 50 ms anyway O_O

a) different tickrate
b) different way to calculate the ping

PS: there is a difference between 30ms and 50ms.
