UT3 pc wont start up

Hi I have had UT3 running on my xp setup from well from the first time I installed the game. But because my computer screwed up I had to reinstall windows and well now when I click on the unreal tournanment icon to start the game the loading mouse comes up then nothing, nothing at all happens even when I try to start the unreal editor, the same thing happens it will have the loading mouse then will do nothing, I have tired reinstalling the game but to no avail

Same..had UT3 running since it came out with no probs at all except the usual. Patch 1.1 fine. Shortly after updating to 1.2 i've had issues with it collapsing and taking the whole PC down with a bad_pool_header BSOD. In Vista x64 i have to run it as an administrator but have lost all sound...

heck I dont think I have updated anything, and I am admin and I still get nothing just reinstalled it now and still nothing happends, when I click play UT3 now (after install) the install box just disappears leaving me back to my normal computer screen

just looked at my error log and saw this, could this be the problem?

UTFrontend uses the .NET framework, have u tried patching it up to latest vers? .NET 2.0 is up to SP1 .NET3 also SP1 plus hotfixes..could also try loading .NET3.5 but pretty sure it makes no use of it.

y'know, I think i'm the only person on this forum to have to boot to Vista x64 to get a game of UT...constantly blows up on XP...managed to get one games after clean install and patch then nuthin
