It crashes on the map load when starting a new game. I'm using an Invida GeForce 8500 GTS with the latest drivers. Any ideas?

I presume you have same bug as me, it crashes when starting a new offline single player career game.
I played career map online fine (joined the game). But it crashed the moment we won and it had to change map.
I can play fine "instant game" with bots or play deathmatch or other games online. Career crashes the game. Does not depend from OS (vista 64-bit and xp 64-bit). Does not depend on hardware (I think).
No idea how to avoid because I wanna play career first and online only after I beat all bots on insane difficulty. -
Crashing is usually fixed by editing the UTEngine.ini to read:
[Engine.ISVHacks]
UseMinimalNVIDIADriverShaderOptimization=True
bInitializeShadersOnDemand=True
DisableATITextureFilterOptimizationChecks=True
PumpWindowMessagesWhenRenderThreadStalled=True
[SystemSettings]
OnlyStreamInTextures=True
Of course, this wasn't the case for me. I had to completely uninstall my drivers with Driver Sweeper and reinstall the latest beta drivers. Read the sticky posts for more tips.Comment
