    60+fps to CRASH

    I have played a big chunk of the single player campaign...I'm up to the Torlan Delta against the Krall...thats more than a dozen maps at least....I have been very pleased as how my system runs ut3 up until this map...Torlan Delta vs. Krall crashes my computer every time...I can not get thru this map without my sytem freezing, recovering mid game, i go back to playing, more stuttering or freezing, and finally about 5 minutes or more in...the game freezes....i ctrl alt del out, and most times can get into task manager to kill ut3 at near 100% cpu..this last crash i had to do a hard reset to a full load on a duo core....i wont go back into ut3 until i get some feedback to this problem, i have tried different things to get thru the map including dropping detal, openAL off, etc. and this map crashes me every time...whats the deal?

    2.4 duo core
    4gb ram
    2x 8800gtx in sli
    vista 64

    I don't know how to help you there man. Seems like such a specific problem. A guy in my clan crashes on Deck (and only Deck) 80% of the time. And we can't figure it out. I almost want to say that for whatever reason, the map didn't install right.

    But I don't know if that's it. I hope someone finds a solution for you!

      Be sure to consider hardware stability. Deck is probably the most CPU/GPU intensive map in the game. If you are overclocking your system or using factory overclocked cards, even though they might perform stable in stress test applications, UT3 provides a real world stress test that those apps can't simulate. Try running factory defaults and/or running with one GPU instead of SLI.

        Did you try any UTEngine.ini tweaks? Check Ultron's sticky post. I bet all you need to change is:
        pumpwindowmessageswhenrenderthreadstalled=true
