INVALID URL errors on re-directs from servers

When downloading new maps..from servers,
I always get INVALID URL: Map_name.

I can continue, but must quit and re-find the server and then the map downloads. Is this a server side issue or me (client) setup issue?

Any help would be appreciated.

Is this issue going to sorted out anytime soon? No wonder hardly any user maps are on the servers.

May as well take my time with mine until this problems fixed.

I have spent enough time on this to determine it's on all the servers. I don't believe it's a setup issue on the server side or the client side. It's an existing bug in UT3.

Any word on this FLAKofEPIC?

It is a server side bug, Epic and the server admins are aware of it. It is being looked at, there currently is no fix, but may be in a future patch.

Oh... so unless i download every map then i can't play on the servers with the custom maps that are empty anyway due to the invalid URL.

Really hope this gets fixed soon as it sorta defeats the purpose of the community making all these maps. I suppose i could buy a PS3 to play them
