Long load times

I am getting pretty long load times when playing UT3. When at the level or menu loading screen, the spinning unreal icon freezes up for a few seconds, and it does this a couple times. When loading a new level in multiplayer, I am usually one of the last people to get in the game. I can run the game at max settings, usually with +30 fps, so I don't think it is my hardware. Even at the lowest video settings, the load times are still the same. I defragged my hard drive, but it didnt help at all. I also made sure I have the latest video drivers. Does anyone have any suggestions?

System specs:
AMD Dual Core 3600+
XFX 8600gt XXX
3gigs pc5300 ram

Same for me, but I never thought of it as a problem. And for the online part, for me load times depend on what tab of the end-game menu I'm viewing when the server switches maps.

Im downloading the new 169.28 drivers and hoping it fixes the problem.
