Game seems to be running worse than it should

I installed UT3 yesterday and it seems to only be able to run smoothly with graphics turned all the way down. Anyone tell me if it should be with my specs?

I'm running Windows XP SP2 with an AMD Athlon 64 3800+ 2.4 GHz Processor, a GeForce 6150SE nForce430 Vid card (512 MB) with 2gb of ram.

I would think it would be running a bit better but I can't figure out how to make it happen, any help?

Also, the game basically looks like a really old version, the graphics are no where near the screen shots I've seen so I'm wondering whats going on.

That integrated 6150SE GPU is a major bottle neck for this game (and most other modern 3d games). If you have an available pci express x16 slot you can upgrade your GPU for much better framerates, though ideally you should upgrade to a dual core CPU also. The game does look similar to some of the earlier screenshots on my Core2 Duo E6750 @ 3.2GHz / nVidia 8800GT system with a constant 80+ fps. Though if upgrading is not an option there have been some tweaks posted in these forums. Take care of the basics first, install the latest drivers, stop unnecessary programs, etc. Here are some tweaks:
