cant install ut3

On Winxp SP2,

I did a clean install on christmas but the opening cinematic didnt work so i tried reinstalling UT3 and now im in a pickle.

When i try to start the disk, it says launcher has encountered an error and needs to close.

So i explore in and click the setup.exe

It asks me what language

Then it says it will "perform an upgrade on ". Do you want to continue?"

so i click yes and the splash comes up and installshield starts

then, instead of installing UT3, it says that it is registering the product and removing backup files.

When i try it again, it just removes the registration and backs it up

Its been looping like that ever since.

the same thing happens to me...i installed it and it said something about and error report comes up EVERY time. someone help me!!!

I deleted all the registry entries and files related to ut3 and the error is still occuring
