CD-Key fix?

Has Epic found anything yet as to why there are constant cd-key entries when booting UT?

since this posting http://utforums.epicgames.com/showthread.php?t=587940 (last thread)

It appears that everytime I now log to UT is asks for a CD-Key

Its turning into a pain in the *** at one time I had no issues but now almost everytime I log on please enter cd-key? is this a result of the last patch or what?
Come on Epic please nail this annoyance

Freeze and lag, thats all i get out of this game... i practically cant get into any game whatsoever, and if i have a slight chance of getting in one, i just lag back out So i figured it must be my connection, help some1 plzz... and im not that great with hardware.
