    Can you be a little more specific? What kind of "trouble" do you mean?

        If you go to this thread:
        http://forums.epicgames.com/showpost...12&postcount=5
        it has various tweaks for optimization. The first section has things on making everything run smoother, the second has things on making it higher quality.
        Does your weapon lag when you are offline as well? If so, it is probably something that can be fixed by following the first section of the link. If it doesn't lag when you are in an offline game, but it does when you are online, then it is probably because either your internet connection is slow or the server's connection is bad. When you are in the server browser try to find servers whose ping is 50 or below. 30 is almost the lowest you'll see it. You could play on a server with a ping of 100, but it's likely the ping will fluctuate up to 200.
        EDIT: Also make sure you have the latest patches.

          Your 8500 card is not a gaming card, it's for 2D stuff. Read this review;

          http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=3128&p=2

          The 8500 Gt is equivalent to the cards listed in the minimum hardware spec, you need to run no higher than 800x600 with maybe 3-3 quality depending on what kind of fps you want to play with. If you want high fps, run at 1-1 quality.

          Also, why are you underclocking your cpu? The 4200+ is a 2.2GHz chip with 512Kb cache per core. Or was that a typo of some sort?

            Just because he has a 4200+ processor, doesn't mean his clock speed is 2.2ghz. You can purchase the AMD models at different clock speeds.
            For instance, I have a 3800+ processor at 2ghz on each core, but you can also get it at 2.4ghz.

              He said that his system is "locking up" but plays smooth afterwards. ADHD anyone? J/K!

              My system crashed during the splash screen, during the audio briefing as a campaign mission started and during the game a random times. The thing that fixed it for me was cleaning my drivers in safe mode with Driver Sweeper and installing the latest afterwards.
