UT3 Freeze or crash

so i just installed UT3(full, bought it today) and applied the newest 1.1 patch, Now whenever i open UT3 it goes past the "splash screen" and goes into the actull game, but the monitors just stay black. Then for some reason they just turn off (not actully off but more like stand by). No game music or sounds is heard so I'm guessing its some sort of freeze....I cant get out of it without restarting my comp.
Yes i have the latest Drivers for my Graphics card

Steps I would take, trying to run UT3 after each:

1-Reseat your video card. Remove it, give it a quick inspection and reseat it. Make sure it is firmly seated.

2-Remove your sound card.

3-Disable any power management settings in your bios.

4-Flash your motherboard with latest bios.

Here are some options you might try:

Edit the UTEngine.ini which can be found in My Documents\MyGames\Unreal Tournament 3\UTGame\Config.

For older NVIDIA cards:
[Engine.ISVHacks]
UseMinimalNVIDIADriverShaderOptimization=True
bInitializeShadersOnDemand=True
PumpWindowMessagesWhenRenderThreadStalled=True

...and then...

[SystemSettings]
OnlyStreamInTextures=True
