I'm about to get the UT3 demo and i just want to know if my computer could play it sufficiently?

Here is my system:
Windows XP
Intel Pentium 4, 2.8GHz
nVidia Geforce 7600 GS 256mb AGP
1.25 GB of RAM
Asus P4P800 Motherboard

It's all random, its a 50/50 shot until Epic Games fixes it.

I have a stronger system than that, but mine locks up my entire system forcing me to do a cold reboot via the tower.

You _should_ be able to run that, but you might experience some technical problems. But if you do, we're here to help. Use the search function, read some threads, especially the sticked ones at the top of the page, and ask questions.

Hyperthreading might help a bit, otherwise your CPU is going to be a definite bottleneck in some situations as it's a single core and not uberfast at that, but it should still be playable at lower settings.

Please look into the TweakGuides article! There's a LOT more to tweaking for performance than just the in-game sliders!
