    Port forwarding

    I have this problem with online campaign:



    I try setting router in DMZ mode the problem resolved, but i don't want use my router in DMZ mode.

    What the port open for the game?

          For clients, that's correct. Server's also need UDP 6500 if you want to try that.

            has a good list of ports... though if ur running the client u shouldnt have to do this, opening the ports is generally for servers..

                    Are you using the beta patch? Although i cant confirm, I believe I read that it can break co-op online.

                    I tried experimenting with the mentioned ports and it doesnt make any difference for me either. Personally I wouldn't use DMZ as it defeats the purpose of a routers firewall abilities.

                      DMZ is a demilitarized zone, a play off the military term, but used in putting some outward facing applications away from everything else, for additional security.

                      More information can be found on this HERE though it might not help you directly. I can't tell what the error message is saying, anyhow.

                          Try disabling the router's firewall _temporarily_ and see if that helps. If so, then it's something that needs to be cofigured. If it's as basic as mine, only letting you turn it on and off, then you might want to use a software solution like ZoneAlarm.
