    Hi guys. Here are the issues we're tracking:

    Framerate drops when nothing is happening: As illustrated by Deuxsonic's screenshots. You're standing in an empty level with no bots, and after a few minute your frames drop, a few minutes later, they return.
    status: NO REPRODUCTION - After several days of trying we have not beeng able to reproduce this issue locally.

    Resolution not impacting fps: As illustrated by Deathbooger's issue. Namely reducing geometry, texture and resolution detail doesn't improve performance.
    Status: ON HOLD - If CPU bound, changing resolutions will not impact FPS.

    Connection Failed: Some customers are experiencing great difficulty connecting to servers, often resulting in a 'connection failed' error message. Many, once they applied the beta patch, can connect to the UMG deathmatch server, but no other.
    Status: CLOSED (2 Solutions Available/2 Notes Available)
    Solution: On ASUS motherboards (and potentially others) updating your integrated LAN hardware's drivers have solved this issue.
    Solution: If it takes you more than 30 seconds to load a map, the default servers will timeout and believe your client dropped. Things that can improve loadtime are disabling custom characters in the settings menu, increasing the amount of RAM in the system, and upgrading to a fast CPU.

    Note: Using a key generated by a pirate key generator online will result in 'Connection Failed'.
    Note: Using a key that is already in use by other player will result in 'Connection Failed'.

    Can't Install: There is an issue for some customers where they can't install the game. After selecting language, they get a flash of the splash screen then back to the desktop.

    Flickering Shadows: On some NVIDIA hardware customers are seeing flickering shadows on their characters first person hands and bodies.
    Status: CLOSED (1 Solution)

    Flickering World: On some NVIDIA hardware customers are seeing the world geometry flicker in and out of existence, typically after 15 or so minutes of play.

    OpenAL: Crashing when OpenAL is enabled.

    Constant Key Re-entry: Have to enter the product key everytime you start the game.

    UT.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close: A crash right at launch.
    Status: OPEN (2 solutions available)
    Solution: If using ATI hardware, ensure "Support DXT Texture Formats" in the Catalyst Control Centre is enabled (3D --> More Settings).
    Solution: If using ATI hardware, in the utengine.ini set the following values:
    Under [Engine.ISVHacks]
    set: DisableATITextureFilterOptimizationChecks=False
    set: bInitializeShadersOnDemand=True
    set: PumpWindowMessagesWhenRenderThreadStalled=True
    Under [SystemSettings]
    set: OnlyStreamInTextures=True

    The Microphone doesn't seem to work on the PS3 version:
    Status: OPEN (1 solution/1 work around available)
    Solution: UT3 uses a "hold to talk" method that requires you press the right d-pad down while you talk, like a walkie-talkie.
    Work Around: UT3 requires that your microphone is enabled prior to launching the game. Please follow these steps to ensure it is:
    1) In the XMB go to Audio Settings
    2) Connect bluetooth device
    3) Talk into the mic to confirm that it is indeed connected (you'll see a colored meter shrink and grow to the sound of your voice)
    4) Choose OK once confirmed
    5) Start the game.
