    tried doing a cleen boot like u suggested, , but didnt have no change , it crashed after about 2 minits, iv managed to copy an paste the error report it gave me if that as any clues for ya ,

      I'm no programmer, but that looks like a crash during the intro movie. This might help:

      Getting a crash during the opening cinematic:
      1) Go to My Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\UTGame
      2) Open and edit the UTEngine.ini
      3) Change PumpWindowMessagesWhenRenderThreadStalled from False to True, and save the file. It should look like this: PumpWindowMessagesWhenRenderThreadStalled=True.

        no it wasnt in a intro movie i was palying DM -deck, on one of ur epic servers i ad just jumped down to the teleporter and it frooze when i landed,

        but il try those tweaks aswel

            win XP home edition service pack 2 build 2600
            intel pentium D 3.4gig
            1.5 gig ddr400ram
            ATI x1900 512 pci express card
            240gig SATA
            onboard realtek 5.1 sound

            currently using 7.9 catalyst , as these were suggested to use

            all windows hotfixs installed

              Catalyst 7.11 won't hurt so I'd upgrade to those. Have you tried reinstalling directx from the microsoft website?

              Also, can you please confirm that OpenAL is disabled in your audio settings?

                are the freezing issues in gateway map for example getting adressed mostly for me in the tropical area wich i got most fps best performance freezes for 10 sec with basicly no load on my hdd's.

                i'm just wondering tough if epic tested how much ram ut3 max use's would it benefit from 4 gb ram as i'm planning going 4 gb

                    freezing is completly random, i realy dont think its map related,,

                    Also, can you please confirm that OpenAL is disabled in your audio settings?
                    OpenAL is disabled , vert sync is disabled, texture an world settings both on 3
                    evrything else is defualt settings

                          Hi WarTourist, are u going to fix bind (u cant bind manualy keys for weapon eg.: e=switchweapon 6)issue with pipedweapon switch option? its very usefull thing to bind 2 weapon on the same key...please
