Monitor problems

My monitor went black all of the sudden when i play I cant understand why it do that. everytime it do i have to reboot comp. it just dont only went black it lose it´s power aswell.

Probably a problem with the monitor itself. My wife's monitor goes white, and the problem is reproducable on other PC's.

Only thing I can think of is perhaps the video card overheats. Do you overclock it, by chance?

yeah or a mode change is throwing it off.

Although he's banned, I get the same issue sometimes. It will load, the screen goes black, static sound, monitor resets and then it reverts to desktop in a terrible resolution.
