I have the same very strange problem. I had cinematics in audio when I first bought and installed the game. Got sucked into Gears of War until that game about killed me with the save corruption bug. Now I wanted to play UT3 and I'm having the no audio in cinematics bug? No changes made to the PC. Audio is fine everywhere else. I'm going to try the long reinstall process (one of the longest installs for a game ever IMHO) and will update this is an hour or so once the install is done. -
Edited I think I found the real culprit.
Reinstall did not fix the no audio problem. Looks like it was actually X-Fire all along! If I turn off X-Fire and play the game audio in the cinematics plays, if I turn on X-Fire it does not play! I can reproduce this on my system.Comment
