this game is totally unplayable..

i like ask to epic.. why you release this game, if you not have done it?
too many players has problems with freezing when playing mission videos, exacly me.. video running, and after second video freeze and repeating last 0,5 second of sound for ever, i trying ALL, reinstall drivers for my graphic, sound cards, processor drivers, directx.... and nothing..

i never play game what has more frequently crashes, and low stability then this unreal... really "thank you".. i buy original in germany and this is result..
absolutely ****ed up money..

maybe this game has really nice graphic, maybe has really nice engine.. but this all is for nothing if game again and again crashing when load maps or playing video, i release fix againist crashes when loading maps to multiplayer.. this works really nice.. with this fix my game never more crashed in loading proces to MP game.. but crashes with play bik movies i dont know fix, this must be any problem in engine or in source codes of your ut3.exe file, i trying fix this in dissambler on too many time without result.

nothing againist epic.. i love UT2004... but this is only expensive waster.
this game really be a failure me, now i cant buy USA or EUROPE coming version.. now this failure me and im absolutely give to air my money for this deutsch release, and if coming US and EUROPE release is some shi* , its not have any interest buy it.

even stupid bioshock run at this computer perfectly, without ANY crash, without ANY problem.



im really so sorry for this post but this must be speaked.. im now reaLLY deplore that shop not giving me back my money what i "throw out" to trash.


i try say... release immediately any fix for your ****ed up exe file, because reading again and again any error with kernel32.dll in 00012a5b is really worst me.






and again really sorry for this extreme NEGATIVE post but.. this is true.. no words, this problem is speaked in this forums on toooo many times, and any admin from epic NEVER speak any opinion or possible way for fix, ye maybe speak any your counsels... remove AVG (i dont have AVG) , any bInitializeShadersOnDemand=True in ini file.. aND again nothing..
and if admin say only:
"If you are still unable to run the game please run through this post and submit your system specs/logs and we will try to help you out."
this is some absolutely for nothing. in ANY error file in logs is NOT any error showed, and if i to forum past this log.. nothing reaction.. again... game normally running and after second ended without any write in logs..

Did you try UseMinimalNVIDIADriverShaderOptimization=True also? It runs fine for me and I have about the exact same specs (except my processor is worse than yours).

demo never crash me.. but demo not have included any videos in SP.. this is problem in single player movies.

but.. without my exe fix this game some crashed in loading screen to multiplayer.. absolutely some and absolutely some error (kernel32.dll in 00012a5b)

I doubt he did because he said he went back to the store and they wouldn't give him his money back. or maybe he did get it illegally lol that would make sense on why they wouldn't refund him.

Personally I love the demo, getting the game on tues, and I think that though certain parts may have been toned down it definitely feels like the super fast unreal i love.
and the ui and character issues while bothersome can be fixed

Well if your expecting blisteringly fast performance from that system - You should back up.

Should have at least 2gb of RAM imo, and of course a better CPU/GPU if you want a decent experience.

How about you spend a bit longer trying to form a semblance of a slighty coherent sentence before attempting to 'own' someone.

I've not heard an inkling about corrupted installs - It'd be most likely caused by poor system maintenance on your part.

well to start of, I lolled a bit, possible solution for your problem might be:

Go to -> UTengine.ini , scroll down and put ";" everywhere in front of where it says something like movie... then it skips all movies and in between stuff.

I'd like to hear about this tommorow, the demo installer was seriously flawed and there is a 40 page thread in the demo forum regarding installation specifically.

Are those cutscenes all in bink format? or are they being rendered. The other thing would be checking your hdd out, it might not be so hot (HDTach). I'm pretty much guessing at this point, but did you try tapping on the upper right side of your computer chassis? Try tapping twice and then run the game.

...and I hate to tell the OP this, but all of them run the UT demo flawlessly. Obviously the last two systems kinda suck (even worse than yours), but none the less I have NO stability problems with any of them.
