well, the problem is there's quite a difference between supporting required features and being able to run. Intel integrated cards are only capable of first. They're usually are outperformed by most of ATI/nVidia 50$ cards with by a huge margin, so while the videocard does support those features it's just to weak to run the game.

Ah, read through the desc once more and found that line:
Microsoft* DirectX* 9 Vertex Shader 3.0 and Transform and Lighting supported in software through highly optimized Processor Specific Geometry Pipeline (PSGP)
It does not support hardware T&L which is required by the game, that's why it fails to run. Actually this is really surprising for me since hardware T&L dates back to the first GeForce, and Intel still doesn't have that.

What is the integrated card you use? It may be below the minimum specs.

    problems on vista laptop

hi i have recently downloaded the demo and have it up and running on my XP pro desktop fine.

the game refuses to run on a new HP laptop though
    specs
    2.0 ghz dual core
2 gigs of g.skill high performance memory
    integrated graphics card 225mb memory
    vista home premium

i know its not going to get great frame rates but it wont even start up. it comes to the first screen with the guy standing there with the mini gun and a red background then it errors out and closes. no specific error message but vista says that UT3 has stopped working and needs to close.

anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it

    thanks
    brian
