    Dedicated LAN Server (no internet access)

    Alrighty! I've just spent the last few days searching and reading hundreds of different tutorials, explanations, setup guides, etc, but I can't find a single person who is having the same issue as I am.

    I've got a dedicated UT3 Duel server set up, which works beautifully while I have an internet connection. As soon as I remove that connection (by assigning myself a bogus manual IP address), the server errors, saying, "Destroying Online Game". I'm assuming it's doing this because it cannot access GameSpy to log in.

    So far I haven't bothered editing any of the server ini's, because it should work fine from what I can tell just by setting up the batch file correctly (which I will include if requested).

    So what I need to know is:

    - Have I missed something very small, yet vital, to my server config?
    - Is there a way around this? Can it just be hosted as an offline server or something similar?
    - If not, is there a crack or a patch of some description I should be looking for?
    - Have people encountered this issue before and just never posted about it on a forum?


    Here's my .bat file (obviously with the usernames and pw's removed).

    I'm hoping I've missed something really simple, but it's starting to do my head in >.<


      Here is how I setup an offline LAN game with UT3:
      1. Make sure your computers have static IP Addresses
      2. Dedicated server has to have a static IP also
      3. turn off firewalls
      4. run the .bat server file to launch the dedicated server (Mine is below)
      5. run Unreal Tournament 3
      6. press F10 to open the console
      7. type: open (Your static IP address of the server)

      it should automatically load your game and connect to the dedicated server.
