Map Voting Question

    Map Voting Question

    OK, Im thinking of allowing map voting but before I do I want to know the following.

    1. I only 2 GameTypes to show up ONLY!
    1a. CTF
    1b. VCTF

    2. I only want users to select the maps that are in the "MAP LIST" only!!
    Do not want users to see other maps.

    Its This possiable??

    Yes. In WebAdmin under Voting you create Game Profiles and Map Lists. Once you have the profiles working you can delete any unused ones. Or you can manually edit UTMapLists.ini.

      Ok I tried that and the maps did not show in the map list

      Here is my maps list

        Game voting should be True (Yes) otherwise no one can change between the two.

        Under Game Profiles there should already be one for CTF and one for VCTF (and greed and DM, etc). In the Map Lists section on Web Admin select CTF and then create the map list and save it. Then VCTF and create the map list for it and save it. Then delete the other game profiles so no one can vote for them.

        Or edit the ini file yourself if you can.

        Profiles and map lists are in UTMapLists.ini, not UTGame.ini. Here is an example (not tested to see if it actually works)

          Did what you said to do. In Webadmin I deleted all the different maplist and then created my own. The only way I could get it to work is to also have Mid Map voting. That ok cuz... when the current map was over it switched to the map that was voted on. So it worked great.
