Linux - Server Install problems

Hi,

try to install it with root and chown/chmod after installation to make it avaible to another user to start it.

Tried that already. It got further into the install but still puked with an error writing a file.

I have a install of the server on my local server, is it possible to just upload it to my pub server and run it that way?

I'm not on the admin list so have no-where else to turn.

We have a dedicated server box that is running Cent5 x86_64. The installer bombs about 60% into it with a error about not being able to create a file. I used wget to retrieve the inital binary.

I've used the same binary on my in-house server and worked fine.

All help is appreciated.
