Steam Users can not join server

Yes, steam users can't join server under 2.0 patch.
for windows server update it.
But there is no official patch for linux (worst the last final is the 1.2), so you just to wait they release perhaps a day a patch who works for linux server.
But make sure you never be refund the time your(s) server(s) can works normally

i have same problem too! when i try to connect to a server its just stuck on Connecting and nothing happens. any link to the answer of this problem?

OK I ran patch 4 , which I had considered to be a client patch, and steam users now can join with no issues

I do not see my server in the ingame server browser either...
though watching the game console on the server I do see people join , so
someone is able to see it

I have not seen any "Dedicated server patches"
Perhaps I have missed something

I just tested , and I can join my server by IP , however when I attempt to add IPort to my favorites , I get a invalid query

steam has auto updating so it should be 2.0 already and i have the same problem as him.

Have you updraded to 2.0? STEAM users can not connect to servers below v2.0

I recently started a new UT3 server , I can join , and others can join without issues, several clan members have Steam versions of UT3 , and cannot join the server , they are presented with a error failed after this process,
join by ip-query completed

failed to find server matching the specified IP and Port, do you wish to connect directly instead - click OK

connection failed-connection failed

when I join by IP I get the same error to begin with , but when I choose connect directly instead , I connect to the game, people with box retail , or direct to drive digital versions do not appear to have a issue joining, only steam version.

I ran a listen server from home , and the effected persons were able to join my listen server without issue

The effected persons try to follow friends to the dedicated server , but in the server selection they are presented with a circle with a slash through it , rather than a checkmark.

I have been unable to find any posts on any UT admin sites, Steam forums that deal with this error , the server installation is the Dedicated server download from Fileplanet.com, configurations were basic server command line from http://darkweb.nl/tools/ut3cmd/ no other custom configurations have been done on the server , it is a clean install.
