Apart from the aimbot... have you faced this?:-

Last night i was playing Warfare and an enemy player popped in my view i loaded 3 rockets and shot them straight on the ground where he was standing the 3 rockets were so close to him that were enough to kill him but when i hit him he didn't die and didn't even seem to have received damage haven't been boosted not even blood came out of his body.. is that possible? cuz i was 100% sure that he was about to die and he didn't have armor that he didn't even glow when he received the shot is that a possible hook?

That was probably a non-registered hit on a low tickrate server.

Interesting how this thread was moved instead of deleted. Also, it appears as if they feel that this issue is a server admin issue by where they moved it.

Just had this weird idea, these hax need to be made and updated by someone and are probably motivated by money. If you had an army of people targeting the core websites, not by spamming but by everyone trying to impersonate someone else they see on the website, it would cause so much chaos that they wouldn't know the difference between the real customers and the fake ones. Oh and youtube video with the name "fair play" would also be a nice introduction.

Or you could create a next generation anti cheat system...

Which is why I put it back on the shelf instead of buying it.

Totally agree. Utterly amazing, for those that are seriously that naive to think that the netcode is enough to expose a cheater is braindead.

The attraction and longevity of any game is about maintaining a good level of stability, playability and goal sets.

To also suggest that its plainly a server admins role to keep there servers clean, is again, braindead.

Take for example Combat Arms, it has fantastic netcode, it has fast load times and has interesting game play with good maps.

However despite all that plus an apparent third party program called 'hack shield,' the game is riddled with hackers, and blatant ones as well.
It has TOTALLY borked the clan scene before it ever really took off, and today its hard to find a clan game that doesn't have a hacker amongst them.

Speed hacks and aimbots have been minimised in lots of games, but to release a game with NO cheat detecting software is just plain arrogant.

Yeah no $h1t. I bought ETQW and it installed a Punkbuster service. wtf, now while playing I have to run malware? *sigh* ok, I get the point ...

What really kicked my *** was that it loads with Windows and not on demand by the game. So, if I didn't notice, I would have an "it's for your own good" rootkit running even if I wanted to play minesweeper.

So I felt cheated and just busted that punk out of my system.
