How do I join my own dedicated server?

Is there a way? It's the only way I can see my game in the browser.

      open <ip>
where <ip> is local IP address (if you're behind NAT)

In the manual it says "You won't be able to play on a machine running a dedicated server"
That's exactly what I'm trying to do though.

My problem is a have a Dynamic Ip, so only hope for me is if someone can actually see my games in the server browser when I host.
My server is invisible if I try to listen a server.
But it shows up when I run a dedicated one.

Gives a cannot connect error. Think it might because the dedicated server uses same cd key? I also tried logging in with a different profile than I hosted dedicated server with.

I tried the running two instances when hosting a listen server over the net, I can connect via my LAN Ip address, but I cannot connect to my listen server via my internet IP address.
Would downloading the standalone dedicated server work?

So much for the idea oh hosting quick pugs
